The Silver Spring Retreat Center is a unique retreat facility located on seven beautiful, partially wooded, acres adjacent to Silver Spring Presbyterian Church (SSPC) in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Easily accessible from major roads, it is a convenient location for groups to gather from across the Mid-Atlantic states. This beautifully renovated historic structure sits in a serene setting that provides privacy, beauty and convenience for groups to gather. 

The original 18th century stone home was given additions in the mid 1800’s, the 1940’s and again in 1972. It was most recently renovated and modernized in 2010. The result is a building that provides six bedrooms, a full kitchen, five bathrooms, and two large meeting spaces. All of this functionality is surrounded by a large outdoor space including a working outdoor stone fireplace and paved, off street parking. Visitors will enjoy a walk down to the stone spring - from which the church and the local municipality received their names - donated in the early 1700’s by James Silver.

The Silver Spring Retreat Center is the perfect location for religious retreats, mission group accommodations, weddings, birthday parties, business meetings and staff retreats. It can be rented for day-use only or overnight use. Grocery stores, restaurants and shopping are all within 1 mile away.
