CLASS
DESCRIPTIONS

  • 2 year old room
    Children are introduced to new experiences using a variety of art, music and fine and gross motor skill development. Children must be 2 years told by September 1st.


  • 3 year old room
    Develop socialization skills in a caring environment, fostering independence and adjustment to classroom routine. Children will be introduced to new experiences using a variety of art, music and fine and gross motor skills development activities as well as social interaction.


  • Pre-K program
    Incorporates various developmental and social skills in the curriculum. Kindergarten readiness developed through circle time, language arts and handwriting. This class provides children with a more structured setting with an emphasis on independence, personal responsibility, and a positive attitude towards education.


  • Extended Day Pre-K program
    The extended day
    program is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday until 1:30pm. Extended day students must be age 4 by May 1.


ACTIVITIES

o   Exercise and play including the school’s outdoor playground and indoor gym for days of inclement weather

o   Language Activities

o   Developing socialization skills

o   Fostering independence and adjustment to classroom routines

o   Introduce academic concepts such as literacy and math such as letter recognition, counting, coloring, using a pencil and walking in line.

o   Lunch Bunch

o   Summer Play School

  • April: Easter Egg Hunts
  • May: Moving-Up Ceremonies/Graduation
