Missions & Outreach
Our youth are very concerned about how their faith can make a difference in our world, and have engaged in many mission activities. Some are far away: going to Wyoming to work on a reservation repairing homes, or to the Adirondack Mountains to work with a children's program and paint homes in disrepair. Some are close to home: making meals for our "Emergency Meals" freezer, or responding to the need of an older congregation member for yard work. Often their service embodies a "think globally, act locally" attitude, like collecting funds for Heifer Project International or making emergency kits for Church World Service. Our youth are always excited and energized by their ability to make a difference.
