We have a vibrant music ministry at Silver Spring.
Sanctuary Choir
The glorious sounds of the Sanctuary Choir can be heard most Sundays throughout the church season at our traditional 9:00 a.m. service. Over 30 members strong, the choir sings a mix of traditional, classical, and contemporary music in four-part harmony. Opportunities for ensembles and solo performance exist throughout the year. The Choir rehearses in the Choir Room at 7:15 on Wednesday evenings during the months of September through May. You don’t have to be a professional singer to become a member—just the desire to praise God through song!
Hand bell Choir
The Handbell Choir performs on select Sundays at our traditional 9:00 a.m. Worship Service. The handbell choir currently has 11 members that ring our three-octave Schulmerich bells. The bell choir is often featured during our Advent candlelight concerts, and other festival Sundays. Membership is open to both our youth and adult church members. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 6:00 in the skylight room.
The Gathering Praise Team
The Gathering, Silver Springs's newest worship experience includes a newly formed contemporary music ensemble. This ensemble includes singers and instrumentalists (piano, bass, guitar, and drums) that lead the congregation in a new and meaningful level of worship. Come check us out!
