Flowers on the Pacific Coast

by Stephen Melton | July 26, 2008

I am not a great photographer, but, for some reason, I enjoy taking pictures of flowers. I look for them on all my trips. I remember stopping in the desert of Utah once to rest. It was over 100 degrees and there was one yellow flower growing where there was nothing else but dirt and sage grass. It was a testimony to the endurance of beauty.

The flowers you see here were happily growing inbetween some rocks on the Pacific shore. This was next to a lighthouse in northern California.

What wonders God hath wrought.

Peace,

Stephen
