Sunday School
Adult Christian Education occurs on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, September through May. Current classes include:
Adult Bible Study
The Bible Study class faithfully follows the "International Lesson Series," studying the entire Bible in a seven year cycle. Each lesson is self-contained, making it easy to join in at any point during the year. The class includes a wide range of men and women, older and younger, those who have studied Scripture for years and those who are new to Bible study. All are welcome to come, learn, share, and maybe even laugh!
Adult Forum Class
Adult Forum is a series of topic driven classes. Some topics are covered in a single Sunday; others require four to six weeks. There is a balance of Bible study, Theology, Mission education, family or personal life concerns, and "hot" topics. This class is often taught by our professional staff or by outside speakers. The teaching/learning style ranges from lecture to group experience.
"Women of the Bible" Class
This women's class explores the lives of the diverse women found in the Bible - individuals who can help deepen our understanding of Scripture and God's love for us, and help us discover God's creative ability to bring good out of the most difficult circumstances. Currently they are using the book "Women of the Bible," by Ann Spangler and Jean Syswerda. In December of 2008 they'll begin a book study on Mary the Mother of Jesus using "Unafraid" by Francine Rivers. If you're a woman looking for a relaxed yet serious group of friends to share faith and grow together, this is the class for you.
Remember study does not only happen on Sunday morning, so check out our studies and groups!
